Job Title: Accounting Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team in Livermore, CA. This is a 100% on-site position supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced accounting environment while continuing to grow their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Enter, review, and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Support month-end close activities and basic general ledger tasks
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate, organized financial records and documentation
- Respond to internal and external accounting-related inquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar a plus)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
